PT. Bukit Asam Tbk is an open-pit coal mining company in Muara Enim, Soutgh Sumatra. In activities, slope stability analysis carried out to evaluate the mine order create a safe process. Several types of failure are associated with geological structures. This research was conducted identify type landslides low wall area Pit X and determine factor based on discontinuity data using scanline method at 8 observation points that represent lithology area. Methods used this kinematic analysis, plane slide wedge. Based it identified has potential for wedge relatively stable slopes.
